Loving Smoothies Again

 I’ve been loving smoothies so much lately! I use to not really like them because all I thought of them is being super sweet and not the right consistency if I made it homemade. I’ve been reading Julie Morris book SUPERFOOD Smoothies and I think everyone should have this book. It has 100 amazing smoothie recipes. When my boyfriend’s mom gave it to me I started to read it she teaches you everything you need to know about a smoothies. Fruits, Vegetables, Detox and something for a sweet tooth it has everything you need to start making amazing and delicious smoothies at home.


“Tips before starting or things to know”
-Building your smoothie you start with a base first “Hard, Chunky like frozen fruits or veggies.
-Bulk is next Soft fresh fruit or veggies
-Powders are next!
-Your liquids should always been added last
-Ice can be either First or Last
-Too add more flavor to the smoothie add a little bit of sweetener ( I love Dates)
-If your smoothie is too sweet then add more ice or more greens
– You can soak your ingredients to make them a little softer (Nuts)\
-When using milk always use unsweetened/unflavored/Coconut/Almond/Soy
-Make Flavored Ice Cubes Green Tea/ Almond Milk to spice up your smoothie.
-Want a Frostier smoothie add more ice or frozen produce and for thinner add more liquids.
If you end up loving one of these recipes prep them in little zip lock bags and you have them ready for the morning!


Strawberry Chamomile
-2 Cups Frozen Strawberries
-1/2 cups Dried White Mulberries
-1 3/4 Cups brewed chamomile tea Chilled (Make this before you go to sleep and put in fridge to
-2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
-2 Tablespoons of Chia Seeds
Watermelon Acai
 -5 cups of seedless cubed watermelon
-2 tablespoons of acai Powder
-3 tablespoons of Chia Seeds
-1 teaspoon freshly squeezed Lemon juice
-1/4 cup pure pomegranate juice
-2 1/2 cups of ice
(Sweetener to taste)
Strawberry Kombucha (Healthy)
 -2 Cups of frozen strawberries
-2 cups of Kombuncha (Original Flavor)
-2 Teaspoons Maqui Berry Powder
-1 tablespoon of chia seeds
Raspberry Peach 
-1 1/2 cups of fresh peaches (no pits and chopped)
-1 1/2 cups of frozen raspberries
-1/4 cup of dates
-1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
-2 tablespoons of chia seeds
-1/4 vanilla extract
-2 cups of ice
Coconut Goji
-1/3 cup dried goji berries
-1/4 Cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
-2 tablespoons hemp seeds
-1 cup of coconut water
-2 cups of coconut ice ( In a ice cube tray freeze coconut water)
Cucumber Mint (Perfect for Detox)
-3 cups of diced cucumber
-1/4 cup of raw cashews
-1/4 cup of chopped fresh mint leaves
-2 cups of baby spinach
-1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
-3 cups of coconut ice
Apple Arugula (Perfect for Detox)
-1 ripe Pear
-2 Tablespoons hemp seeds
-1 cup of arugula leaves
-3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
-1 1/2 cups apple juice
-1 cup ice
Green Protein
-2/3 Cup Chopped Celery
-1/3 cup dried white mulberries
-1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
-2 cups baby spinach
-3 tablespoons almond butter
-2 cups almond ice (In a ice cube tray freeze almond milk)
Pumpkin Pie (Fall Lovers)
 -1 cup of canned pumpkin puree
-1/4 cup of dates
-1 tablespoon of almond butter
-2 tablespoons of hemp seeds
-2 tablespoons of flax seeds
-1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice powder
-1 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
-3 cups coconut ice
( Blend everything first then put ice last and blend again)
Cookie Dough (MY FAVORITE)
 -1/4 Cup pf Raw Pecans
-1/4 cups of Dates
-1 cup chopped ripe pear
– 2 tablespoons lucuma powder
-1 teaspoon maca powder
-1 1/2 cups  of almond milk
-2 tablespoons cacao nibs
-2 cups of coconut ice
Optional 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Blackberry Vanilla
 -1/4  cup raw cashews
-2 tablespoons hemp seeds
-1 tablespoon lucuma powder
-1 1/2 cups apple juice
-1 cup water
-1 1/2 cups frozen blackberries
-1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
Red Velvet Cake
-1/2 cup of roasted beets
-1/2 cup dried white mulberries
-3 tablespoons cacao powder
-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-2 cups coconut ice
-1/4 cup Large dates
-2 tablespoons mashed avocado
-2 tablespoons cacao nibs
-1/4 cacao powder
-3 tablespoons hemp protein powder
